Open House Recap

On Thursday, October 11, 2012 Prometheus welcomed supporters, local partner organizations and friends to our new offices in Center City Philadelphia.

About 60 people came to enjoy food, drinks and an exciting video (link: http://youtu.be/wYmye02Dewo) about the upcoming opportunity for community groups to apply for an LPFM license. A diverse crowd of folks from all over the region chatted and networked and some even danced to our very own DJ Domino. Our collective members gave some briefings on where Prometheus' work is headed in the next year, and encouraged folks to support our mission and to spread the word about the rules the FCC will be announcing shortly.

Staff members led tours of our new offices which are a step above (literally!) the West Philadelphian basement where Prometheus had been operating from for the last eleven years. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!
